Rates and ratios

My W.A.L.T was use rates and ratios

6 of Joel's are standing the other 11 have fallen over. What is the ratio of the number of dominoes still standing to the number of fallen dominoes?

The answer to this is 6:11 because there was 6 standing and 11 fallen so it practically gives you the answer.

Something I learnt about ratios was that they can be written in 3 different ways eg: 1:2, 1 to 2, and 1/2

My next step is loci.

  1. I think you have used the blog post guidelines well by having a WALT, next step and you have gave an answer and how you got the answer

  2. I think that you explained your maths goal really well because you explained the answer and how you got it. You also told us what you learnt and gave us an example.

  3. I think that you have done will because you have put an answer and to say why you got the answer you also told us what you learnt

  4. Hello Rosie, you explained your goal very well and it might teach others how to do it if they didn't know!!!! :0
