My W.A.L.T was use rates and ratios

Example
6 of Joel's are standing the other 11 have fallen over. What is the ratio of the number of dominoes still standing to the number of fallen dominoes?

The answer to this is 6:11 because there was 6 standing and 11 fallen so it practically gives you the answer.

Something I learnt about ratios was that they can be written in 3 different ways eg: 1:2, 1 to 2, and 1/2

My next step is loci.

Reading follow up evidence

This was one of my reading follow ups for this week.

It taught me colloquial language, which is informal or shortened words that you wouldn't use in modern conversations.

I think I am at extended abstract because I can identify several features that subvert colloquial language,can give examples and make an overall statement.

As well as high school subjects you also need to have a medical diploma, good grades, and also a certificate of graduation. If you are applying for a job having these will put you ahead.

Leadership evidence

Today I used up my whole morning tea, and part of class time for the bake sale. A disposition I used was resilience, this was important becuase the kids took ages to pick and I had to ask them nicely to hurry up other than being snappy. The female leaders and I set up all of the tables at 10:30. In the end we raised $907.10c for our year 8 wellington trip in term 4.

Today I showed leadership on the technology by only talking to the people next to me with a inside voice Also inviting a year 7 boy to sit with us because he had no bus buddy and it was three to a seat. This year I have definitely made good progress of sitting on the bus and my next step would probably be letting anyone sit by me and not saving the seats.
